SMD Drilling Powder polymer CHP ULTRA (powder form) is an easily mixed polymer additive. It’s designed to encapsulate drill cuttings and stabilize shale in drilling fluids ranging from freshwater to saltwater, and from low-solid to weighted muds. It increases fluid viscosity, reduces friction, and helps control fluid loss.

Recommended Treatment

Add drilling mud powder CHP ULTRA in concentration of 0.2 to 1.0 kg/m³ to any active system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.
